Each Councillor has a constituency services and office budget to pay for expenses that are allowable under the Constituency Services and Office Budget Policy*. This dataset contains Members of Toronto City Council total annual constituency services and office expenses broken down into categories (e.g. Office Equipment and Supplies, Conferences & Office Travel) . The budget per year is as follows:
- 2008 office expense budget - $53,100
- 2009 office expense budget - $53,100
- 2010 office expense budget - $50,445
- 2011 office expense budget - $30,000
- 2012 constituency services and office budget* - $30,000
- 2013 constituency services and office budget - $30,450
- 2014 constituency services and office budget - $30,815.40
- 2015 constituency services and office budget - $31,585.79
- 2016 constituency services and office budget - $32,059.58
*The Office Expense Budget has been renamed the Constituency Services and Office Budget and the Councillor Expense Policy has been renamed the Constituency Services and Office Budget Policy as per City Council approval of EX21.9 on July 11, 2012.

Comment
2010 and 2014 are election years. Councillors are allocated 11/12ths of the approved constituency services and office budget until the end of the Council term on November 30 of the year. The remaining 1/12th of the budget was allocated to December for returning Councillors. New Councillors also received 1/12th of the allocation.
Therefore each Councillor had a constituency services and office budget of:
- $46,241.25 for January 1 - November 30, 2010; $4,203.75 for December 2010
- $28,247.45 for January 1 - November 30, 2014; $2,567.95 for December 2014
