Freedom of Information (FOI Requests) are made under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) or the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA). Corporate Information Management Services (CIMS) co-ordinates and responds to all requests for all City of Toronto's Divisions, Accountability Offices, Office of the Mayor and Councillors.
This dataset is a catalogue of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests under MFIPPA. The data was downloaded into an Excel spreadsheet from the system used by Corporate Information Management Services to track FOI requests. Personal information (e.g. names ) and other identifying information (e.g. Addresses) have been replaced in the file to protect the privacy of individuals; where such information has been removed, there is an indication that the information has been removed (e.g. personal information removed).
Requests that are exclusively for access to personal information (AP) or personal health information (PHI) have been removed to protect the privacy of individuals.
