The City holds or has control of a wide number of general records and personal information banks. All of these records are controlled by municipal, provincial or federal legislation. The directory indicates which legislation the records are covered by (i.e. authority).
The directory is a list and detailed description of the general classes or types of records and personal information banks in the custody or control of the City.
The data was collected from a number of sources. Some of the data was from legacy systems of the former municipalities and is updated by Corporate Information Management Staff. This data is also a subset of the City's Records Classification System (RCS) classification scheme.
