2024 City Budget Pre-Budget Consultation

Toronto residents were invited by Mayor Olivia Chow, Budget Committee Chair Councillor Shelley Carroll, and Members of Council to share ideas about the City’s 2024 Budget and Toronto’s future.

From November 1 to 30, 2023 Toronto residents were invited to take a short online survey and exchange ideas with other Torontonians about the City’s 2024 Budget and the issues that mattered to them.

Excerpt	This dataset includes survey results and ideas exchanged from the 2024 Pre-Budget Consultation available from November 1st - November 30th, 2023.
Limitations	This dataset includes all survey records that were exported from the survey tool, including records that were started but not completed, i.e. partial completes. Test records were removed. Also, this dataset has been cleaned to remove offensive language and personal data, along with those responses that may fall into the “offensive speech” category upon contextual review.
